Allen Cooper
Allen Cooper, one of the many NM public school teachers who suffered severe censorship in Spring 2003, was also a volunteer visiting activist-author who spoke of his courageous witness to the struggles of Martin Luther King, of the Cuban Revolution and of the embattled 1973 Wounded Knee freedom fighters before classes and student assemblies at RRHS and other schools, and who supported the Alliance for Academic Freedom and Poetic Justice in true Zen Warrior spirit.
