Carlos Contreras
Carlos Contreras was born in Albuquerque's North Valley. In 2002, Carlos was the youngest poet to ever qualify for the Albuquerque Poetry Slam Team. Currently, he is a student at the University of New Mexico, a DJ, and has participated in two National Poetry Slams. He is a presenter and educator in the National Hispanic Cultural Center's"Voces” program, as well as, New Mexico CultureNet's Poetry Jam conferences.
