Manuel González
Manuel González is a teacher, musician, and performance poet. He is from the heart of Aztlán, Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was on the 2000 and 2002 Albuquerque Poetry Slam Team. He has performed all across the country teaching poetry through independent workshops at high schools, prisons, and youth detention centers. He says,"Poetry is my Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Without poetry I'd starve to death! It's my Shoulder to cry on, my friend I tell my secrets to. Poetry is life!”
